With about a 4.4 gpa, what is the lowest New SAT score I could recieve to still be accepted to UCLA, UCB, and UCSD respectively?

i want to know what the solid score will be.

most colleges will not know our year... scores will be all over the place. i hope most colleges dont really take it as a harsh medium of scoring.

Most likely same as the old one where you add math and cr to get a score out of 1600, as on the old scale, and the writing is simply the sat II part.

I'll take a guess; don't trust me!

UCB: 1400 + 700 = 2100
UCLA: same as UCB

I read that 2230 is like a 1500++ for the NEW SAT. any score higher than 2250 should be considered superior.

i would say that a 2000+ is like a 1400

but... guys.. we won't know,... all the parts are different and you can't benchmark stuff on one year. you will need to wait 5 years to find the average. one year won't matter... and i am crossingh my fingers that as long as you don't get a sub1800 on the new one, you are in good standing.

if i total my old sat and the sat ii writing, i have a 1900 sharp ... but the math and verbal and writing are all different.

2220 because that is my score and i am a cool person.
otherwise, i think if u add ur math and CR (not writing) and get 1400+, ur good (what hyper2000 said)

For top 5 schools, I'm guessing 2250 and above should be good enough.

No body knows, the schools dont know the college board doesn't know, and with all the combinations from old and new scores, and the fact many colleges are going to put little weight on the writing sections for awhile, who knows????

just wait a couple days guys...april 16th we will all receive percentiles for our scores...then you will realize what a solid score is et cetera...in my opinion anything around 2100/2050 will be solid for any college.

you have to consider this is one year, though.

i would say that our year is a guinea pig period and relatively little weight will be placed on the sat... you have to consider a five year period. our year could be extremely differnet than another period.
