What is IDOC "signed" copy of tax return?

First year. Never did that before.
While reading through IDOC FAQ, I found they put lots of emphasis on "signed" copy.

I know I need to send in copy of tax return that has been actually filed with IRS thus has signatures at the bottom of page 2 of 1040. Is that what they want? Or do they want us to make copy of the tax return and "sign" again on the copies so they get the copy with "ink" signatures (on every page)?

Just the copy of the signed returns is fine. A lot of people these days e-file their returns, so in those cases, they’d have to print a hard copy of their return and sign it for IDOC. If your return is already a hard copy and is signed… photocopy is just fine. (Not on every page, just where signature is required.)
