<p>its getting better and better every year, although weekends can be a little dead still</p>
<p>UTD is a relatively quiet school but it has made impressive changes in the last few years with an expansion of housing and dorms. The greek system is in its infancy but is growing as is activities on campus.</p>
<p>Yeah…the campus is not lively on the weekends. That is the positive/negative trade-off. You are right on the edge of a major metropolis that has more nightlife than any college town…but the actual campus itself lacks.</p>
<p>I think there are plenty of opportunities for socializing at UT-D, it’s just that the framework for meeting other people usually involves academic pursuits, volunteering etc. instead of parties.</p>
