<p>I dont plan on going to an engineer school but would it be better to take 2C and get a lower score or 1C and get a higher? ANd even then I would rather take biology than either math, is this alright? Oh and I dont plan on going to an Ivy League either. :0</p>
<p>While the 2C does involve more difficult math, the curve is also much more considerable. If you've taken at least up to Precalculus, you shouldn't have any problems with it.</p>

<p>I think some of the more selective colleges will wonder why you didn't choose to take the Math IIC and ofcourse, someone who took the Math IIC will be compared more favorably to some who only took the Math IC. My suggestion: Look at the IIC, if you think you can handle it, take it even if you have to work at it.</p>
<p>Well if your area of study is very far from math, then I dont see any reason to take the 2c instead of the 1c, unless of course you think you can handle it. My friend who will major in classics took the 1c, and he got into Ivies and their equivalents.</p>
