what is my chance for georgia tech(international)

<p>hello
i am iranian and i want to apply for a doctorate of mechanical engineering in Ggeorgia tech, these are my scores:</p>

<p>-Bs:naval architecture,Amirkabir university of technology,Gpa:2.98 on a 4 scale
-Ms:mechanical engineering in "energy conversio,CFD and Heat transfer",Tehran university,Gpa:3.65 on a 4 scale
-one ISI journal</p>

<p>Amirkabir is the best and toughest Naval architecture school in Iran.
Tehran university is the second best of Iran after Sharif univesity in the overall rating,but in "Fluid mechanics","energy conversion","Heat Transfer" and CFD Tehran university is the best university of Iran,even better than Sharif.</p>

<p>It’s a crap shoot with graduate admissions, and will partially depend on your research experience and the grants the department currently has, but with a 2.98 U/G GPA, there’s no way I see it happening.</p>

<p>the minimum GPA for Georgia tech according to their site is 3,do you really think my Gpa 2.98 will really decrease my chance and this 0.02 is that serious?
