What is next?

I am going to be a freshman at stern in the fall, but I am confused as of what I need to do.

Do I need to sign up for orientation? ALso during welcome week, will I be staying the dorms, or will I be responsible for my own housing?

I am just confused as to what I should do.

THanks in advance

Go online and set up your email account.

On the web site, it will give you information about orientation. Sign up now.

New York University | College of Arts and Science | Freshman Orientation

If you haven’t signed up for housing, you can do that through your NYhome account.

As for welcome week, it is my understanding that students will move in on August 30. Welcome week starts as soon as students move in. It is crazy, but I think that it is a whole week of fun before classes start. Good Luck and congratulations on getting into such a great school.

Oops! I gave you the orientation website for CAS and you are a stern student.

Stern students can you help nyuftw out with the website?

I have done housing and email but cannot find where to sign up for oreintation

can a sternie help me out please

If you did not participate in June Orientation, you will be in an August Orientation during Welcome Week. Don’t worry. A lot of schools don’t even have summer orientations! It just means you will have some things to do during Welcome Week while everyone else is going to the other events. But there are so many events you will not miss out.

All freshman move into dorming the day before welcome week. You will be in your dorm for a week before classes start (welcome week!). It’s tons of fun and a great time to meet everyone in your dorm as well a fellow freshmen because most everything is free or cheap and you have no class!
