what is south dakota state university like?

does anyone have any experiences with that school?

c’mon, there’s gotta be SOMEONE! :(

I don’t know much about the school, but I can describe the location a little bit. Brookings is a tiny town in eastern South Dakota. Badlands NP and Mount Rushmore are in western SD - the eastern side of the state is as flat as a pancake and is roughly equivalent to southern MN or northern IA. The oil fields are mostly in western SD as well.

Do you like rural farmland?

hmm apparently they have an entire building dedicated to dairy microbiology…must be a big ag school

isnt daktronics in brookings sd?

Daktronics does have its’ headquarters in Brookings.

I don’t think you will find many people on CC with personal experience with SDSU, not because it is or isn’t a good school but because many people on CC are looking at highly selective schools.

I don’t know anyone who attends SDSU but I do know the price is right and they seem to have a high placement of their students upon graduation.

If this is a school you are interested in I suggest you contact admissions for information and/or visit.

Yes, I think so.

A friend attended SDSU (years ago), received a degree in Dairy Manufacturing and went into the Air Force. She thought it was a pretty good school.
