what is south halls like?

Anybody have any idea what the atmosphere is like in South Halls???

Some South dorms have sorority floors. It’s adjacent to Pollock, which has a better dining commons, and Pollock also seems more lively (more freshmen) but lots of kids prefer South since it is closer to town.

how noisy does it get in south, compared to east? I dont’ want to live with party noise 24/7

East is known to have a large number of freshmen with a lot of partying going on…South includes the Honors dorms, which allow non-Honors students to request them if those students want a more “academic” dorm. You could request Atherton or Simmons, the 2 honors dorms, if you thought that was more of the atmosphere you are looking for…though don’t be fooled…there’s still some social life happening in those dorms, too!
