What is the average GPA admitted to these schools?

I just wanted to know what the average GPAs are. I couldn't find online so I just want to hear what you guys got in with/heard people get in with.

UCI's Business Information Management
UCI's Econ/Business Econ

UCD's Econ
UCD's Managerial Econ

UCSD's Econ

UCSB's Econ and Accounting
UCSB's Econ

UCLA Business Econ
UCLA's Econ

UCB Econ

Please let me know what you think the average GPA admitted is and your source!

Here is UCLA’s profile of admitted transfer students for Fall 2012 by major - [Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2012 - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof12_mjr.htm)

Average GPA admitted for Business Economics - 3.92; 1874 applied & 335 admitted

Average GPA admitted for Economics - 3.93; 1,042 applied & 179 admitted

I think UCLA is the only one that releases this information. The other schools(besides berk) use TAG so it’s not incredibly important considering you’ll need a 3.0/3.2+ to be guaranteed. UCSD doesn’t admit by major so you’ll either have to TAG (3.5+) or match their average GPA which I read was 3.65 (w/o) TAG.

@emprex, what do you mean UCSD doesn’t admit by major? Does that mean TAG is pretty useless when it comes to getting into your major?

From what I’ve read, UCSD admits you into the school, not the major. I don’t know if TAG guarantees the major. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone TAG and not get into their major but I’m not sure.

It’s around 3.5 for UCSB.
