What is the best college?

With all these rankings and lists... I'm really confused!!! How do I know that the college I choose is a good one?

I'd like your opinions, (annoying, I know, haha)
rank theses choices...what are the better/ best college(s),(or the worst!?)

Goucher (Maryland)
DePaul (Il)
Flagler (Fl)
Fordham (NY)
Emerson (Boston)

(I think I'll probably be majoring in communications/journalism, but I'm not even sure so you can judge w/o that or whatever)

Have you visited any?

The best college is the best college for you; no rankings can tell you that.

What vehicle is the best vehicle? Where do you want to go and what do you plan to do? What options are best for you? Truck or sports car, luxury or economy.....what fits you best, is the best. Do more research.

thanks
yea... i know, I've been doing a lot of research and although Emerson seems like a great school for communications, I don't think it is right for me because it doesn't offer much else. My top two choices are probably Goucher and Flagler at this point (and fordham's up there too). As of now, I've decided Chicago is too cold!! :) hahaa

I wish I could afford to visit Flagler, but I guess I'll just cross my fingers to get in (I might really need to) and maybe I'll be able to visit it later (or just wing-it!)

Don't know about Flagler, but know two students at Goucher and they are very happy - very small classes, lots of prof interaction, and plenty to do on campus, at nearby campuses, and in Baltimore. Campus is large too, 270 acres right inside the Baltimore beltway - they have horses and a riding program, as an illustration of how the campus feels.

Goucher is big on study abroad as well.

yea... goucher is even making study abroad a requirement this year! :)
