<p>There are lots of great colleges around the country and students have a wider array of choices than ever before. Consequently, the ultimate college may come down to non-academic factors, including a good social life. To help others get a sense of what is big on your campus, tell us what event(s) are the most fun at your school and involve a large number of students?</p>
<p>Dartmouth - "Big Weekends" - we have one per term, and they are awesome.</p>

<p>UChicago has a few campus-wide events per quarter that are well-attended:</p>
<p>Fall Quarter:
Blues N' Ribs
(major concert-- this year, Bob Saget)</p>
<p>Winter Quarter:
Kuviasungnerk/Kangeiko (week-long winter festival with free food, polar bear runs, and 6 am yoga)
another concert-- this year, Common
Dance Marathon</p>
<p>Spring Quarter:
Summer Breeze (a big, big party/carnival on the quads) + Chariot Races+ Night concert, this year featuring the Roots and Spoon

<p>Duke has:</p>

<li>Duke football tailgates (massive party every other Saturday morning in the fall)</li>
<li>Duke lacrosse (post false rape allegations)</li>

<p>Connecticut College has very popular campuswide events throughout the year. In addition to the usual holiday party (Festivus), winter formal, fall concert, spring weekend, Conn has a pretty unique event:</p>
<p>Camelympics- HUGE weekend of dorm against dorm olympic-style competition. Usually end of September/beginning of October. Activities range from sports (soccer, basketball, flag football, glow in the dark kickball, etc etc etc) to games (scrabble, spelling bee, jenga, debate, etc etc etc) to arts (each dorm has its own tee-shirts, cheers, posters). Winning dorm gets big bragging rights all year long.</p>
