Haha, relax. SAT's only work to a certain point. The cut off point at most top school is 1900-2000. If you are above that - they'll definitely start considering the rest of your application.

Your scores are great, by the way. Don't bother retaking. Focus more on the essays and the total package.

To jehangircama : Your scores are damn good as it is, though if you feel you will be able to do better on your CR then I strongly suggest you give 2300 a shot :).

To Hope1988 : I don't think you need to give it again as your scores are VERY GOOD as it is, giving it again would be a waste of time as 20-50 points wouldn't make a difference to colleges at all.

Pardon my sarcasm, but the reality is that the world, especially that beyond college, is not looking for one dimensional people. When you break it down, the difference between a 770 and an 800 for a given question is what? 3-5 questions. I would venture to assume that the people doing admissions know this. So why stress?

okay,
easternborder, i know my scores are pretty good. but i heard that some schools like MIT and Caltech (even though i want to go to Cooper Union) have middle 50% verbal scores of 690-720.

sorry, if my post before made me sound like i was trying to show off... believe it or not, compared to some CCers, 2220 is just Okay ... and so i was just wondering if the 690 will hurt any
