I currently have about a 400 in that section. I wanna get at least a 600. Is this goal in my reach? Please answer both questions.

You should stop making 50005039254320592430923 “GREATEST IMPROVEMENT” threads and start STUDYING.

Can you at least give me some tips for the Math section?

Practice practice practice

That is my advice

Can I get more specific advice? “Practice practice practice” is too vague.

^^Hahaha, these guys are no help.

I went from 710 to 790, whatever that means. And yes, it is within your reach. PM me and I’ll give you study plan if you give me a detailed description of what you’ve already done.

Can you at least do a forum search? We’ve been telling you that ever since your first post, and still the spam threads.

I’ve increased from 520 in 7th grade to a perfect 800 in 10th grade. Pretty good huh?

But recently i took a practice from the BB; so i got a 760-770 on the MATH. WHA!!! My consistency of getting 800 is broken. :(

For starters, it is impossible to offer advice without knowing why you’re scoring 400. Since you took a good number of tests, it’s time to spend some time analyzing your performance.

You need to define why your score is so low. Do you lack the basic understanding of the concepts? Do you run out of time? Do you guess blindly at many questions?

Have you taken the time to take some tests without time limits and with access to the … answers. When you see the solution of the problem, do you UNDERSTAND the problem?

As far as advice that could help, I recommend you looking at the Xiggi sticky post and check the general tips about how the test is scored. You might not know this, but you could skip all the hard and hardest question and score close to your objective. You could even skip many medium questions and still do much better than 400.

Go back to one of the tests you graded, and check the score you could have earned without a SINGLE guess. Only count the answers you knew and check your score without the penalties.

I went from 500ish to a 800.

The 500ish was when I was a freshman (practice test) and the 800 was the real SAT I took.

Basically, just pay attention and do well in class. All the things you learn in class (in high school) should be a lot harder than the math section on SAT.

why are you the creator of every thread i click on…

*why are you the creator of every useless thread i click on… *

^fixed

what makes my threads useless?

Did I mention to do a forum search?

I’m just trying to get advice. I just wanna be a success man. I wasnt trying to irritate anyone. Sorry for wasting your time.

are you even listening to him at all? nothings stopping you from being a success. advice alone won’t get you a 2400. you keep asking for it but you fail to take the advice. you need to STUDY. what others get doesn’t affect your grades so stop making new threads about improvements.

I know you think we’re being mean, but we’re just telling you what’s best for you. The more you study, the more you’ll improve. The more time you spend on CC asking the same questions over and over, the less you’ll improve [and the more you’ll annoy the rest of us]. Get off CC, open up your BB, and start studying. How much other people improve has no bearing upon how much you improve.

GREATEST IMPROVEMENT HERE (lol)

i usually get like 650’s on the week before i took my real SAT…i got a 800 perfect score on my real one =D…first time too!..and last! lol
