What is the percentage of UCLA appeals that actually works?

It seems like a lot of people are appealing. I was just wondering if anyone knew about how many people appeal a year and how many decisions they actually reverse. Thanks!

Hey, I was just wondering if they are ALL out yet? My friend got her's yesterday... but my other friend didn't.

UCLA Class 2012!

I didn't get mine yet.
i'm guessing I have to wait til may 1st.

I didn't get mine yet either!

But i don't know the status of it...because I already sent in my SIR for UCSD, and i don't know if we're allowed to appeal to a UC while sending in the SIR for another UC.

And does anyone know if we can cancel the SIR for UCSD if my appeals is successful for UCLA?

^
yes you can.

How do you SIR more than once? Everything I've read says once you SIR one UC, you cannot change to another? I havent really found anything it writing that's clear

you can SIR to UCLA once you cancel your SIR for another school. I believe thats how it works.

On may first my friend's status changed from pending to rejected again...but my status has not changed, and it's May 6th....any hope...doest that mean im in? or that they just forgot about me?

btw i appealed to UCLA(my dream) and UCSB...???

I think its a good indication if u havent been told yet. As I got rejected from davis a day before my friend who got accepted on appael

wow well ill keep posting...and when i hear hahaha ill post!

wtboutcollege, have you heard from la yet?
And yes, I agree with bimmerdriver. My friend's LA appeal was denied a week before mine was accepted, and my UCSD and Cal appeals were denied pretty quickly.

The last page of this link has information about appeals, but they are from 2003.
I don't know the exact number currently, but I do know that it's very low. Good luck to you and keep us posted!
