we eat, work, and sleep.
support family, work for money...but in the end, what do we get? DEATH
we pretty much have a routine for day to day living. it seems tedious.
go to school, get a job, start and support a family, have a few sufferings and happy times, then die.

all organisms purpose in life is to reproduce and carry on the species and that is all.
So life is basically this:
be a baby ----> have a baby -----> raise a baby -----> die

at the end of the day you’re just a chimp that happens to have a good brain. all the things we do must feed into some sort of evolutionary behavior.

why do I treat others the way I want to be treated? because if I treat others like an *******, they’ll treat me like one, and that could be bad if, say, I’m injured when hunting an elephant.

I’m actually not afraid of death at all. I’m fascinated by it. I’ve always wondered what I’ll feel like after death (I know that sounds weird, let me explain). Like you know the “me” feeling, you self awareness. Do you think you’ll ever feel this way again?

I’m gonna break the trend and say that the point to life is whatever you want it to be. You are in control of what you want out of life, and you’re the only person that can answer this for yourself. Would be easier if there was some cosmic machine that says “Here is your life purpose. Do it.” Maybe so…but then you are not in control of want you want out of life. And honestly, that’s what life is about–finding out what is important, and what isn’t. We are more than just baby machines.

I’ll admit it. Sometimes I wonder what I would do if I were a ghost :p. If I come back as something else (to whoever’s listening up (or down) there), I’d like to be a family dog…seems like they have fun :p.

Oh the drawbacks to having the intelligence to question our own consciousness…

As Spiderman once said, “With great power comes great responsibility”

I’m going to throw an idea out there - the point to life is to have wonderful poops. Anyone had a magnificent poop in their life time? Not like the hot ones, or the nasty runny ones that take forever to clean up - im talking about those clean ones that just build up and when it’s gone - you feel like you can run a 50 mile marathon. The purpose in life is to experience that - once you have, everything else is just not as great… and then you die.
