What is the typical candidate for the U.S. Air Force Academy like?

In terms of academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, and social background, what is the typical candidate for the U.S. Air Force Academy like? What is the typical GPA? How many AP courses did a typical candidate take? How many Varsity letters does a typical candidate have? What extracurricular activities does a typical candidate do?

The averages would be somewhere around a 3.85GPA, 29-31 on the ACT, upper 600s to lower 700s on SATs, with several honors/AP/IB classes. I would guess that most cadets particpate in 1-2 varsity sports (some did more, and a few did none). As far as ECs, that gets pretty varied. Scouting, CAP, NHS, JROTC and religious groups are probably the biggest ones by the numbers. The important thing is leadership and dedication within ECs. Social backgrounds get pretty varied too. There is a large share of military brats. Most come from somewhere in the middle class. States with large AF/military presence are well represented.
