I got a 30 on my act. I dont know what that is equal to in Sat terms. Maybe around a 2000.
I also have a 3.2 gpa

3.3 and 2060

3.75/ (1520/2190)

It would be interesting to see how many of the scores >2300 come from 'slackers' in school...

3.4 and the LOWEST SAT listed so far..........1370.

Not a slacker! And thank God for the ACT.

Look a lower SAT. I consider myself an over-achiever until I visit this website.
SAT: 2050 730 (CR) 630 (M) 690 (W)
GPA: 97.3 6/530 rank too
Booo SAT, you make my life difficult.

1800 / 3.26

I have pretty good GPA, but not so good SAT. Also I'm in a college/pre-u year here (like grade 13) in quebec, and you will see how SAT doesnt predict 1st year courses...
SAT: 2090/ 1380 (CR+M)
GPA: 93.8; rank: 8/950 in enriched science prog.
GPA for year 11: 88
I ended up with over 5% better while taking much harder, college level courses in pre-u...

mmm, try 98 GPA and 2050 SAT. In short, I'm ****ed.

I didn't know this site had editing capabilities. Impressive...**** sorry I couldn't help myself..its addicting

1490 M+CR...2270 Cumulative SAT/3.91 GPA

Well, it depends on what GPA you want from me. The weighted one that is most standard is a 3.57, with just the academic classes factored in, and no electives or dual enrollment. On my school's scale, which has a "partial credit" scale, as I call it, gave me a 4.03 weighted academic. (For example, a B+ is a 3.67, and a B- is a 3.0) You can tell I had a lot of B+ grades.

Also keep in mind that there were problems with my freshman and sophomore years in terms of grading and my personal life. Counting only my Junior year, I had a 3.9 weighted GPA using the standard "no partial credit" scale.

My SAT M/V was a 1370, and with writing, was a 1990.
My ACT was a 30

question:

what kind of GPA does college look weighted or unweighted?
casue if you took a lot of APs, your unweighted GPA wouldn't be that kind of high

Son's score/unweighted GPA

2210/3.9

2180/3.579

I wonder if we can really correlate. People with higher SAT scores may be taking a more rigorous curriculum, which could in turn lead to lower grades due to difficulty.

daughter:

2090 SAT, 4.0 unweighted, 32 ACT

2230/3.9

unless you count the high-school credit classes I took in 8th grade, then it's a 3.88 maybe?

2250/4.0

but grade inflation is HUGE at my school...

I had 2200 on SAT, 4.0 in high school.

2320/4.0........
