John Mayer & Mumford and Sons

Explosions in the sky
El ten eleven
Mogawai
And the like, I can’t do lyrics while studying

OOOH yes,

nearly forgot Bon Iver and Beirut!

Also love this Brit singer Paloma Faith.

I’m too lazy to make a playlist and sync my iPod every time I want to change it, so I have a list with ~130 songs that I listen to while I study (and one playlist with good songs with no words if I really need to concentrate)

I have around 20 songs by UKISS, then some by BTOB, Infinite, Teen Top, BIGBANG, 2NE1, SNSD, T-ara, Rainie Yang, Kingone Wang, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Gack’t, Nana Mizuki, Kanon Wakeshima, etcetc. On my no lyrics playlist, I have the Liar Game OST, some songs from Pandora Hearts and Kuro****suji, and then several piano pieces by Yiruma. LOVEEEE. x3

White noise. Can’t jam out to that and it’s relaxing :p

oh hahaha just realized the Japanese word for black butler has a bad word in it. DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE THAT LOLOL.

Anyways that’s Black BUtler. Love Shiver.

OH YEAH AND DEATH NOTE. AND NIGHTMARE.
I listen to such a wide array of genres. o___O

^ Same, I just got into Mando-Pop and some Japanese songs, but not a lot though.

Cool. :3

All of my friends listen to like… Train/Eminem/Lady Gaga/One Direction/ Carly Rae Jepsen/Katy Perry/etc and so when they hear what I listen to, they think “LOLWTHISTHISTRASH”. I let one of my friends listen to World is Mine by Hatsune Miku (vocaloid. I love the song though asdkfalsdf;), and she was like IT’S POSSESSSSEEED.

Each to her own I guess.
/hides in otaku hole
I got one of my friends obsessed with Lucifer though (shinee, kpop group.) Now she walks into class screaming HER WHISPER IS THE LUCIFEERRRR~

And one of my friends now wants to marry Zelo.

I think the only one I know who likes Mando-Pop like me is my old Chinese teacher though. She didn’t want to teach: She wanted to watch dramas and listen to music every class period and have us fangirl with her LOL.
of course I was the only one who went along but oh well. |x

I blasted ‘Meltdown’ by Rin in the house, my mom was all like, “IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCREAM MOUSE!!” My friends listen to SHINee too, I’m not a big fan of SM Ent really. I’ve been hooked on NU’EST lately, JR~ woot woot.

I LOVE NU’EST haha.
I don’t like most of SME’s recent songs, but I do love their old ones like Replay, JoJo, It’s You, Sorry Sorry, Into the New World, etc. (x

Haha LOL my parents are the same. That’s why I always listen with earphones now. x3 I tried making my mom listen to Hongki’s song in the You’re Beautiful OST (I LOVE IT SO MUCH ASDKALD IT’S SO HAPPEEEEEEEEE), and my mom was like… this is trash. what has happened to Korean music. SHAME ON YOU FOR LISTENING TO THAT STUFF.

My favorite singer from SM would have to be BoA hands down. Her new single will be coming out July 22nd. Eeeeeek~

I don’t really like BoA’s voice because it’s nasally. I think Taeyeon’s voice is the best voice in SM… or maybe even the Kpop industry hehe.

And I’m jealous of IU’s range. o_____o

^ GASP Just kidding~ BoA was the one who really got me into K-pop. IU is amazing, her songs are so adorable. My favorites from IU are Mia, and Cruel Fairy Tale.

Classical all the way. Only when I’m studying; any other time it just gets annoying.

The Fray, Coldplay, classical, and when it gets past 11:30, I bump up the Drake and Chris Brown :)

I have a very…diverse music taste.

When I’m studying, nothing. Maybe open a window and listen to the wind/birds/whatever.
When I’m doing easy homework, nothing (usually) or something without words–calm trance, ambient, “nature sounds,” or video game music.
When it’s late and I need to stay awake (so far only happened during papers), techno (becoming faster and louder as time goes on, since it’s very energetic) or death metal/extreme metal (hard to fall asleep to)

I have to have music playing all the time, or I’ll fall asleep studying.

I like classical, but then I soon find myself humming along and focusing more on the tune than the work. darjn.
