What I've Realized...

I don't know if I wanna do NCAA stuff, I'd love to do IM!
wanna be on the Water polo team? I'm very new to water polo (I know how to swim, but I've been checking out the water polo scheme and I'm enjoying it more than just swimming laps)</p>

<p>DUDE, if it's CO-ED. hahahha.
I'm a girl, so i doubt you big bad boys would want me on your team. lol
i played 4 years for my high school as the goalie, so yeah, i'm definitely going to check out IM's..can't wait to get in the scene! :)</p>

<p>^ I'm sure it'll be co-ed, my swimming team is co-ed, then again... the girls tend to be faster than the guys, there's a girl who can do freestyle laps twice as fast as our fastest dude.</p>

<p>I'm the fastest breast-stroke swimmer in the team though.</p>

<p>oh neat! yeah, some guys have ego's the size of mt. olympus. nice to know you're not one of them :)
i'm a horribly slow swimmer though. i hate swimming laps! that's why I tried out for goalie freshman year, because i love the sport, just hate the swimming...
breaststroke's ok...beats the rest of the bunch :)</p>

<p>^ hahahaha, I have a really good pull, but my kick sucks..... I have lost so many races and I'm on the bench sometimes because of my kick problem.</p>

<p>I have a "runner's kick" that is I kick with my knees.... it's an issue, IDK what to do, I keep messing up!</p>

<p>But in breast stroke I can do just fine, the kick is really easy and I have good technique.
I hate swimming laps too!</p>

<p>We swim for the first hour about 1.5 KM of Freestyle, then we move on to "training exercises" like </p>

<p>-just kicks (hate those so much)
-swim on left side, right side
-we do some backstroke (which I hate too)</p>

<p>then butterfly, but butterfly is lame</p>

<p>lol, sets of freestyle= hell.
so us goalies swim the first 200 with the team, and then 10-25's sprints..
after that it's just all leg work, bricks, etc.. which i don't mind, cause it sure beats swimming. haha :)
butterflies are punishment for us. im like ahead of the pack the first 100 (cause i do breaststroke kicks instead of dolphin kicks---i know, weird), but then my endurance wears out when I get to the next 25 and i just die... lol. those sets scarred me for life.. HAHAHA.</p>

<p>I Actually don't like the dolphin kick, it's weird! and I think it's hard to master</p>
