Hi, so I've been thinking about this for some time. What looks better to the adcoms for these schools, President or Treasurer/Accountant. At face value many would probably say President since that is the head, and in the majority of cases carries the most responsibility however, think about it this way, Wharton and CAS (business related majors) are business programs and even though a president would be the head, the treasurer/accountant of the club is the one that deals with all the money and finances etc. Taking the latter into consideration, isn't it possible that these positions would be more appealing than that of a president as they are business programs, and the treasurer/accountant is a business related executive, therefore showing more "fit" for the school/program? Please don't be afraid to tell me straight up if I'm thinking about it all wrong, because I'm really looking for input on this topic.

One of the reasons that got me thinking about this is that at my school there is this club/society that is business-oriented and they have an accountant position, to get this position you would have needed to gone through the entire 10th and 11th grade syllabus in the subject area and received a good grade on the international exam in the subject, because thats the level of work that you'll have to deal with (12th/13th grade is optional) and in addition, you would also be supervised and advised by a member of faculty in that area. This doesn't seem like any ordinary treasurer to me who just collects dues every meeting. So after reading this wall of text (sorry about that :( ) would you still say they would look more favourably upon someone in a president's position than an accountant position? Thanks in advance for responding.
