I’m thinking psychology or finance. Psychology more so for the artificial intelligence aspect, and because I most likely will receive IB credit for the course, and finance because of the opportunities one can find in the business world as a comp sci major.
Choose something you like that will round you out or just help you explore a subject you enjoy.
It is not generally necessary to do a minor in anything, as opposed to using your out-of-major schedule space to take whatever you find interesting and useful.
Agreed with both of the posts above. For someone who doesn’t want to work in finance, a minor in it is useless. Same for someone not into AI or psych alone. Focus on what you’re interested in, and remember that there’s no need for a formal minor - take classes outside of your major as you see fit for your interests.
Math and/or statistics classes will be more useful than psychology classes if you’re interested in AI, but as other have said, no employer is going to pay much attention to what your minor was.
