What laptop do you personally use?

For college that is. I’m in incoming freshman and I’m just wondering what others use.

HP envy. Do not recommend unless you’re a gamer

Macbook Pro

I’m an incoming freshman too, but I’ll be using my Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook, with Windows 10. It’s lightweight and fast and I personally love it.

I also use a macbook pro

I got a MacBook Pro towards the end of 11th grade (in 2012) and I’ve had that ever since. It might need replacing soon though.

My 10th grade laptop became rather useless during my last semester losing connectivity to the internet, dead battery, and super slow processing… So I made way with using available desktop computers. And I borrowed university laptops.

Macbook Pro 2015. Was totally worth it to me.

Dell Inspiron i5. It’s a mid-range laptop, but it’s got power and a touchscreen. If you’ve never had a touchscreen laptop, you’re missing out on something awesome you thought you never needed.

Lenovo Thinkpad T440p. It’s a beast.

I use a Surface Book. Since it’s grey though, it sorta blends into the sea of Macbooks aside from the Windows logo, haha.

@trailblazer11 - my D just came home with a dell inspiron two days ago. Yes, it is so cool!

We just bought our daughter a MacBook Pro.

I have a Lenovo Flex 3 (14" i7). It’s OK. It was not my first choice, but I was buying on the off season because I damaged the Lenovo that I had before. I don’t remember which one that was, but it was better. I don’t use the flex tablet feature, and occasionally it will freeze up on me if I haven’t restarted the computer in a while. But I really like the size, and it seems to work reasonably quickly.

I highly recommend that you check out the pen integration with onenote in the surface line especially if you like hand written notes

HP Spectre 13

Lenovo T410 - It’s the same one I had through much of high school but still works quite well

Gigabyte P35. Don’t recommend unless you’re a gamer and/or want unnecessary amounts of horesepower.

Been satisfied with it so far, battery’s good for how much it’s packing under the hood, and it’s light enough. Thermal performance is pretty poor, though.
