Laptops

Anyone have a laptop that they are using for highschool. If so which kind is it, and how do you like it.

I have a mac book pro which I absolutely love! It is amazing especially because me and my sister don’t have to fight over the comp.

I used to have a massive (18 inch) HP Pavilion dv8 but it’s so big and heavy that I couldn’t take it anywhere. Also, HPs get super hot very quickly. Now I have a Lenovo Ideapad U400 which I love because it’s reasonably sized (around 14 inches) and very lightweight, I can hold it in one hand easily. It doesn’t overheat at all and has a pretty quiet fan so I can take it anywhere.

17.3" Asus - good
~15" Dell Inspiron - old, not so good any more

I’m getting the new MacBook Pro this year(:

Right now I have a MacBook laptop but it’s quite old, loud, and slow.
Get a MacBook Pro!

I don’t have a laptop. But, I have an iPhone which is pretty much the same thing.

Haha no its not.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using CC

Haha, it’s close enough

I would so get a macbook pro, i just can justify spending over $1,000 on a laptop. Plus i can afford that anyway. :(

What do you need it for? I can advise you on a solidly priced windows laptop. Personally, I have a decked out Macbook Pro .

Macbook air. I got it when my old Macbook broke. The speakers suck and there’s no disc drive, but other than that I like it.

Sometimes I tool around with my HP Mini if it’s a slow day and i’m feeling like it’s necessary (once I ended up being in the library for 3/5 periods in one day…gets boring real fast). It’s amusing to have people ogle it and be surprised that yes, I can get things done with it.

Mine was free, but retail on it (now discontinued, sadly, but they make similar models) was $199 (newer ones maybe $299) and it weighs as much as a Macbook Air, if not less (minimalistic is my real name). Obviously it has technical limitations, but I love my netbook and I can do a lot with it.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad B575 and it’s great because I don’t really need a super fancy laptop.

I have a regular Macbook (the slightly older white, chunky one). I love it, I am a visual art major and often need to do graphics for school so it is perfect, I will also be in yearbook this upcoming year which will make it even more useful. Other then that it is just an overall great computer (worth the absurd price that took me forever to save up for), I plan to upgrade to the Macbook Pro for college…
