<p>I got accepted to Iowa as a pre-physician assistant and I now filling out the housing application and it is asking me to rank my living learning communities. I also qualify for honors college and I do not know whether to rank the health sciences LLC first or the honors college. Any advice?</p>

<p>I cannot answer your question definitively but my hunch is that the health science LLC would be the better choice as there would be a higher concentration of students in those majors present. Of course I made the same recommendation to my engineering student son and he promptly scrapped it, saying “I don’t want to live with only engineers.” He chose honors dorm Daum instead and it was a great choice. The friends he made there are still his friends 4.5yrs later.</p>
<p>You might look at the specific dorms and their locations and choose the one that appeals to you most. I think either would serve your purposes academically.</p>
