A withdrawal from a General Elective course or a Satisfactory grade via a Satisfactory/Not Satisfactory grading option?

Thanks.

A withdrawal from a General Elective course or a Satisfactory grade via a Satisfactory/Not Satisfactory grading option?

Withdraw. What’s bad about satisfaction? If you’re a freshman, don’t worry about either.

I don’t know. A satisfactory grade means you got a 2.0+. It might show lack of commitment or something?

Or it might show that you got a 100%. Don’t worry about what it might show - think about what it is most likely to show.

Again, if you’re a freshman, don’t worry about either. It probably doesn’t matter!

The “S” is better than the withdrawal.

Go with the satisfaction.

A withdraw grade means that you probably got (or were getting) something really bad! It could have been as low as a 0%!. With a satisfactory grade, they know that you didn’t get lower than a C.

^ Not exactly. I have a fair amount of Ws and NONE of them were due to poor grades. The vast majority of them were done like 1-2 days after the deadline of dropping a class with no record (1 week after classes start)

So there’s nothing to worry about if you have a few withdrawals S/NS in college?
