<p>I want to be able to inspire or motivate a person whos going through problems or needs help to make a difference in their life. Im also interested in biology, reading, learning about different cultures, and also a career that will allow me to have time for my family.</p>

<p>Agree with the above: Psychology is top of the list. Teaching is next. Teaching high school might be very rewarding for you; in which case you’d need to major in the subject you wish to teach, then get a credential. Some schools offer integrated teaching credentials within a major (or in graduate work). Perhaps teach biology?</p>
<p>I can say from experience that my high school teachers were some of the most influential and encouraging people in my youth; I was a messed up kid and they encouraged me to find the right path.</p>
<p>Sociology/social work and anthropology might be a good mix.</p>
<p>how about counseling for kids from battered families? not sure what that’s called… or teacher/counselor for low income kids.</p>
