What majors is UVA strongest in?

I got accepted and am definitely going to attend. Haven't decided on my major though in the College of Arts and Sciences.

I'm applying for transfer. One of the reasons is for their English program. My brother went through it, and everything I've seen of it seems to be excellent. Great course selections and interesting topics. It really depends on what you're interested in though. Congratulations on getting in!

At the undergraduate level there's not much variation in quality. It's not like graduate school. Just major in something you like that will get you a job.

UVa's McIntire school just got rated Number 1 by Business Week for undergrad business. A lot cheaper than Wharton if you're in-state.

do you have to apply in spring of the sophomore year to get into McIntire?

dare to dream, yes. the “requirements” mentioned can be found here [Prerequisites - McIntire School of Commerce Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.commerce.virginia.edu/admissions/prerequisites.asp)

are high school transcripts considered when applying or just your uva gpa?
