<p>Not only does it “look bad”, your parents’ stubbornness may have cost someone at shot at Cornell, when it was their dream school. Instead of a transfer offer from Big Red, someone might have been heading off to Ithaca this fall.</p>
<p>What the hell do you want me to say would you like me to write a formal letter of apology to everyone rejected by cornell. They could have easily busted their butt like I did and worked more to get into their dream school. People who decline offers to any school means maybe someone dreaming of that school didn’t get in. My mothers stubborness will not make the world come to an end. I guarentee time did not stop so you can stop antagonizing and move on with your life.</p>

– Dude, you don’t have to explain yourself anymore. Whenever you apply to schools, apply everywhere. You didn’t take any spot from anyone. If they weren’t qualified then they weren’t qualified! I understand why you didn’t pull your applications, and it makes a lot of sense. And your parents are not stubborn, just cautious and wise.</p>
