What?! Overnight Visits Ended !?!?!

Could someone please tell me if this is true?

According to http://www.yale.edu/admit/visit/overnight.html , "The overnight hosting program has ended for the 2004-05 season."

Does this mean that the only way to spend the night in a Yale dorm is to attend Bulldog day? Or will the admissions office work around it to accommodate pre-frosh?

Please let me know! I'll call the admissions office ASAP tomorrow as well...

Thanks

Call the admissions office... they will work something out.

I think that refers to overnight visits for prospective applicants. Admits can come whenever they want. I just got an e-mail begging for hosts this week.

y don't u just call up your friends at yale. When i made visits in the fall I never had the admissions office set me up with someone. I just called a kid who graduated from my high school and spent the night with him and went to some classes.

If the admissions office doesn't come through I'm sure you can set something up informally (possibly even through CC people).

Thanks guys.. admissions responded today and they've already been more-than-accomodating!

Excellent idea, though, Hanna - but fortunately nothing "makeshift" will be necessary..

I can't wait to visit :)

Yeah the tour guides there are awesome and will let you come and stay with them all the time. I made a ton of friends when I was in Branford for a week. Check out the Buttery when you go!
