What pencils/pens/highlighters do you use?

What pencils/pens/highlighters do you use on a daily basis?

Haha this is such a weird question.
Uhm, usually bic mechanical pencils and ball-point pens.
When I’m feeling fancy, I use my Pentel R.S.V.P clicky pen
Or my TD bank freebie pen. <3

Agreed, this is an unusual question :stuck_out_tongue:
I usually use a Papermate clear point mech pencil and a Pilot easytouch ball point pen.

I don’t always use highlighters…
but when I do, I go with Sharpies ;)

Ugh I hate the clear points :P… I use a graphgear (I love heavy pencils). easytouch ballpoint pens are also really awesome but most of all I like pilot g2s.

Pencils: Most of the time, I just end up taking the teacher’s pencils, or I just borrow a pencil from a classmate. For some reason, all of my pencils end up disappearing, so this cycle constantly repeats itself. Edit: If I had to choose a certain brand, I guess I’d go with Ticonderoga.

Pens: Usually pens from random banks or businesses.

Highlighters: Avery (?) pen style highlighters, I guess. I don’t use them that often, though.

I hate pencils, especially mechanical ones. I use Staples brand pens that are really inky.

I’m very picky about my mechanical pencils (any brand) with .5 lead. I’ve literally ran out at 6:30am just to get that specific lead because I hate anything bigger. I used to use inky G2 pens, but then I discovered the power of erasers and I’m hooked.

For pencils, I use Ticonderoga. The embarrassing thing is, I’m really picky about the length of the pencil and the size of the eraser on it, so if the pencil gets any shorter than 3 inches or the eraser has been used completely, I don’t use it anymore. (I guess that is why I end up going pencil shopping every 3 months.)
On the other hand, pens, I really don’t care; usually I just use ones I get from hotels and events. I agree, clicky pens are awesome though!
I’m not particularly picky about my highlighters either; as long as the color is not neon yellow or pink (that color really blinds my eyes) I’m fine.

Haha, I love this question!

I’m really partial towards the pilot G2 pens, I like them a lot. As for pencils, for school I use mechanical and really just whatever brand is on sale, but for drawing I like fabercastell graphite, and for highlighters I don’t really care and rarely use them (I like underlining with pens better).

I used to use G2 pens regularly, but they smeared a lot (my handwriting certainly didn’t help, haha). Clear points are nice because I erase a lot… though if you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear 'em!

Ticonderoga pencils, I’m literally obsessed with those, they are the best. Pens, my preference changes a lot, I only like clicky pens or ones with a cap though and for boring subjects I like to use colorful pens. I don’t really use highlighters, but if I do they have to be hot pink.

I’m really weird about my writing utensils and accompanying supplies (like erasers). I use the cheap BIC mechanical pencils because I lose pencils easily. I never ever use the eraser on my pencils though. I use a Black Pearl eraser from Paper Mate and I only use one specific side. I write in my agenda with a uni-ball Vision Elite and because it’s really inky, it forces me to write more slowly and, as a result, more neatly. For taking notes I use G2 pens. Recently I’ve been testing out different colors and sizes. I’m torn between blue and black and 0.5 and 0.7. I also carry a red pen and a purple pen for organizing notes or grading a classmate’s paper. They’re Paper Mate’s Profile pens. I prefer to use skinny yellow highlighters but I have no brand preference. The one in my pencil case right now is Sharpie.

I used to use regular pencils but my sharpener sucked and I ended up writing dull and very thick a lot. One day I found a pencil called a Graphgear 500 by pentel. So I started using it. I never use pens and I have a highlighter from staples.

I pretty much only use wooden pencils, generally typical yellow number two pencils, idc what brand

For pens, I use whatever I find

I’m special.
AKA, I’m a spoiled brat who uses expensive stuff.

Pencil: Alpha gel kuru toga 0.5
(god, best thing ever - but my mom wouldn’t let me buy the hello kitty one QQ)

Highlighter: Zebra Midliner Soft Colors
(the reviews claim it’s amazing, but I don’t like it much. Can’t read the text underneath at all. I much prefer the cheaper ones they sell at Staples.)

Pens: Pilot FriXion gel pens (for daily random crap) / Hi-Tec-C Coleto 0.4 for assignments

I am so particular about this stuff!

Pencils: Papermate clear elite 0.5 lead (i use the 0.7 version for standardized tests)

Pens: Papermate flair or sharpie pens. So good

Highlighters: sharpie liquid highlighters

I’m a papermate pencil kind of guy. When I use pen, I use black BIC Atlantis pens. I’m glad this question was asked, because I never payed attention to what brand my writing utensils were before now.

Uni Alpha-Gel 0.5mm as a pencil.
It’s the shaker kind, so you shake the pencil and lead comes out. That comes in handy. Also the grip is extremely comfortable. You can also “lock” the pencil so no lead comes out if you shake, and the traditional clicky mechanism of a mechanical pencil is there as well.
Only downside is the price – It’s 10 dollars. But it’s the only money I’ve spent on a pencil in 2 years.

Pens – 99 cent Staples pens.
Highlighters – 99 cent OfficeMax Highlighters.

OMG. I use my G-2 .5 lead mechanical pencil :] i love it.
And G-2 gel pen in BLUE. I like using it to write in my logbook, soooo much better than regular ball-point pen.

I don’t highlight stuff. LOL.

I have these Hello Kitty and Rilakkuma six-color pens, and I use all of the colors…even orange. Because not all of the ink runs out at the same time, I have several of these pens.
Then I have scented Hello Kitty highlighters. The yellow one smells weird (is it lemon or pineapple?) but the others are pretty okay, I guess.
