The epic debate --which is the best? --which do you use? --why?

im cool with either pencil or mechanical pencil because my hand writing is way neater when i write.

Mechanical pencil. That way or the highway.

whenever I use mechanical pencils the lead breaks so I have to go with pencils.

Personally, I go for Ticonderoga Pencils. I’ve used them since sixth grade. They are soft, consistent, and last long.

I thought nobody used pencils anymore. Guess I was wrong.

Mech pencils, and when I run out of lead, pens. :D

Mechanical pencils for everything! 0.5mm especially!

But in occasion I use UniBall Micro for notetaking, some how ink makes me retain information a lot better.

I use mostly pens and mechanical pencils; and regular pencils onlywhen I need to.

Pencils and Pens.

None of that “mechanized” stuff. ;)

Pens only for me =]

Pens only. Mechanical pencils when I need to, for math.

I use mechanical pencils. You know, the ones that everyone used to use, with the twisty eraser and side thumb clicker.

Mechanical pencils all the way. I despise wooden pencils. egikhadf.

Mechanical Pencils… or Ticonderoga’s… they are the best pencils!

^I’m in love with Ticonderoga’s pencils. More specifically, the erasers.
Unless it’s a triangle pencil. Then I love the actual pencil more than the eraser.

Mechanical pencils! Especially BIC…and then a well sharpened Ticonderoga (which is definitely the best pencil in the world).

Pencil, because I write much neater with pencil, and I hate having to refill the mechanical pencils.

pens for regular writing, mechanicals for math and such, ticonderogas for scantron or if i run out of lead.

Lately I’ve fallen back on regular Staples pencils, but the best writing utensil ever is a black Uni-ball Vision Micro. (Not vision elite, no.)

0.5 mm mechanical pencils > 0.5 mm or less pens > ticonderoga yellow #2 pencils.

Why, yes I am picky as hell! I usually write in green or blue as well. 90% of the time its mechanical pencils though.

I use pens, but my hand writing is a lot better with pencils
