Or Major and minor. I can’t find this information anywhere
I’m surprised that information isn’t posted somewhere (I couldn’t find it either, but I didn’t look very hard). Anecdotally (I’m in arts and sciences), I would say a relatively large percentage of students double major, and a ton of people do a major and a minor. Since CAS has 40 majors, and a lot of courses are crosslisted in multiple departments, it’s fairly easy to complete a double major, especially if you come in knowing one major you want to do initially. I was undecided for two years, so I didn’t really have time to double major, but I could have done it fairly easily otherwise.
Doing a minor is extremely easy. Most only require 5 courses, and some are crosslisted in other departments anyway. There are easily 3 or 4 different minors that I’m only one course away from earning accidentally in addition to the minor I’m actually getting.
