And what is the purpose of SAT IIs? Which SAT IIs are you supposed to take? How many are you supposed to take? What's the difference between AP and SAT II: do you take both for a subject or choose one, and why?

For example, I'm taking World History Honors this year. Should I take the SAT II at the end of the year? Or the AP World Exam, even though my school doesn't offer AP World?

Sorry for so many questions, but I just don't really understand

1) As with anything that says SAT on it, they are used for admission along with your SATI and/or ACT
2) Each college has specific requirements on whether they include SATII's in the admission process and if so which ones they want to see. If you're going to be an engineer than MathII + Chem/Physics would be a good idea. If you are a humanities major than maybe Literature + History. Each individual school will tell you how many they want you to take and some will specify which ones but generally you can take whatever subjects you want.
3) APs aren't really used for admission while subject tests are. Reason being that many schools don't offer AP classes or only offer them in small amounts. AP are generally only considered for college credit after being accepted
4) If you do will in world history this year than yes you probably want to think about taking the subject test. But make sure you take some practice tests/read a prep book to cover any topics not covered in class.

Can you take more than 3? And how many will show when you send them to colleges/ how will colleges take them into consideration?

What if I don't want to go into humanities, but I did well in World History Honors. Should I take the subject test, or AP exam, or perhaps both?

You can take as many as you want. I'm assuming you're not a senior so you'll have the option of sending as many as you want. And a good score on the subject tests will never hurt you and even if you're going into engineering/natural sciences a high world history score will help.

I was taking Global History Honors last year and I took the SATII and received a 700 because of stupid mistakes. I would of taken the AP World History exam but I did not know that I could if I was in honors.

The World History SATII is not difficult. Buy 1 or 2 review books and read them as a supplement to what you are doing in class. Use a highlighter to highlight everything that you think is important. It will be very helpful the day of the SAT II when you are quickyl scanning through your book. One to two months before your SATII, start rereading the books thouroughly. Make sure you understand everything. Read about 1/2 to 1 hour a day. Take practice tests and review every answer, even the ones you got right. If you are having trouble in a specific area, go reread that section in your textbook and your SATII review books. If you take the practice tests and want more practice questions, look for AP World History questions online- they are pretty much the same as the SATII
