I am looking to transfer from my community college in the spring. I want to major in either journalism or communication. I currently have a 3.33 and will have 27 credits by transfer application deadlines. If I maintain my GPA what colleges or universities could I get into anywhere in the United States. Please name a couple or have a list
Ps here are schools I am looking at that I think I could get in with my GPA: University of Missouri, university of Miami,Ohio university, university of Miami,Syracuse,Indiana university, and american university.
I am looking for schools with pretty high prestige in communication/Journalism or in general, that I could get into with my GPA and if you could tell me the average or mean GPA for transfer students (not the minimum required GPA) for the schools you suggest or the ones I have listed above.
Thank you

Transferring can be a pretty intimate activity, so I suggest you call the admissions offices, see if they have an officer in charge of transfers, and ask him or her your questions about transferring there. Why ask strangers when the people who know are a phone call away? The internet is not good for all kinds of research. While you have them on the phone talk to them about your interests and experiences in communications and what their school can do for you.

What state are you a resident of? I’d definitely make that flagship one of your schools.

Some schools are going to want you to have more like 60 hours by the time you arrive. Is that true of your schools? Have you figured out how you’re going to pay for these last 2 or 3 years?
