What schools did all of you apply to?

The ultimate ski school is Le Rosey but it’s in Europe. Best to look at boarding school review. You can view each school’s website from there. Needless to say, the NE schools near mountains are your best bet.

zenrose - Best bet for skiing would probably be the schools in western Massachusetts: NMH, Williston, Deerfield, Berkshire. St. Paul’s is another option, although their downhill skiing program is being discontinued in a few years. Or, how about Proctor (also in NH) - it has its own ski mountain!!! Or any school in Vermont . . .

Fountain Valley School in Colorado is a reputable school that’s also close to ski areas. [Browser Not Supported](http://www.fvs.edu)

I applied to one, Linden Hall. I needed horseback riding and it had to be closer to home then some of the “Top Ten” schools, plus I needed a merit scholarship because my parents make to much to be eligible for FA but we still can’t afford those huge tuitions. I ended up getting full scholarship to Linden Hall. I just hope I like it there! I would do anything to go to the schools I see on everybody else’s lists!

@danceaway Did Linden Hall already send out decisions?

@danceaway,Linden Hall is a lovely school. You will enjoy it.

Exeter

Non-existent

Non-existent

I only chose exeter

Uhh - I didn’t apply this year  - but if I had …

Exeter
Deerfield
Andover
Interlochen
Walnut Hill

In no particular order…

@aurelie I got mine in the beginning of January before I even had an interview. I don’t know why I got it so early, but I did.

@Zenrose: Check out Holderness’ ski program.

Applied to three schools:
Andover
Choate
Exeter

Zenrose - if you are a serious about skiing and you don’t get into your top three - look at KUA and Proctor (has their own slope and nice location) and New Hampton. Holderness has a very very good ski program, but I don’t think they will have spots after m10…
Andover and Exeter are closest to snow and I am sure Choate goes on ski trips too…

I applied late by a week or two and thought I couldnt apply, until kent emailed me (i then made this account and found out hotchkiss let me apply aswell)
I applied to kent and hotchkiss, but at this point kent is really just kind of my safety school if i dont get into hotchkiss. Both are great schools, but i felt hotchkiss was a much better fit for me

Dance Away–congrats on Linden Hall, oldest and strongest all girl school in the nation!

I applied to:

Choate
Andover
Hotchkiss
Emma Willard
Deerfield
Exeter

No particular order, just random.

Nobles (Noble and Greenough School–nobles.edu) has finished in the Independent School League as the champion for alpine skiing for 8 times in the past 9 years for girls, and 3 out of the past 4 for boys. The ISL is a very competitive league, so that says something.

Choate and Andover.
Gosh, I hope I get in somewhere…
