What Schools Do i have a Shot on?

bump

so is it a bad decision to take Chinese?

no the more 800s the merrier

Your Asian...more is expected of you.

about the caltech thing...i dont want to be a jerk, but i honestly think applying would be a waste of money for you unless you think you can get high SAT2s and your SAT 2100~2200+...sorry.

Don't Be sorry, all i'm looking for isTruths about my status, thx for the honest advices.

I'm pretty sure that i can get 700+ to 800 on Chinese SAT II

so it DOES worth it to take the Chinese SAT II if i can get a nice score?

I'll work on my SAT and SAT II during summer :)

No, don't take the Chinese Sat II. If you're Chinese, it's expected that you would be fluent in, well, Chinese...If you get your scores up a little I think you would get into Binghamton, although it's becoming more selective...you should check out some of the other SUNY schools

Wang. Take the chinese SAT II. Colleges want to know that you actually know how to speak the language. Anyway, I took a practice one and finished in 20 min and got a perfect paper. You can do that too. The more 800s the merrier

I decide to Take Chinese, and try to ED to NYU depending on my 2nd SAT Score.

Btw, Do i still need to take Writing in SAT II? ( since they already include a writing section in SAT )

also, i've been playing volleyball for 3 years and was the manager for 1 girl season, would it affect my admission if i stopped joining V.B. and joined tennis instead?

thx

This might be stereotypical, but I always thought that recent immigrants from Asia are strong in math, even if their english might be a little behind.

Some of us are, but just b/c alot of countries stress math more than U.S., doesnt mean that every asian is good @ math.

yes...i am WEAK @ english....
