I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice on which colleges would be safety schools and which would be reaches. I'm just not sure where I stand or what school's I have potential for. Thank you in advance.

unweighted GPA=what colleges use, so figure that one out. u should consider bowdoin (as a reach) since u like lit and lang, middlebury (reach), williams (huge reaccchh), whitman (match), davdison (match), randolph-macon(saftey), mary washington(match). i think you'd do great at mary wash seeing gur stats, you're about the type of kid they are looking for, mediocre SATs but a great work ethic and a strong interest. check it out.

Thanks for your help. I live in California so do you guys think any UC's would work or any other CA colleges?

lady:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safe Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safety

chapman in the OC
whittier college
university of san diego
university of san francisco
university of the pacific
u should be able to get into all those

Might want to check out Holy Cross-very good LAC with solid English program. HC likes to recruit West Coast students.
