What should I do? (Test Scores)

I have a dilemma.

Currently my test scores are as follows:

ACT: 33 Composite, 35 Math, 33 English, 33 Science, 32 Reading

SAT: 1940 Composite, 710 Reading, 660 Math, 570 Writing
SAT: 2090 Composite, 670 Reading, 690 Math, 730 Writing
SAT: Pending

SAT II: 740 US History, 690 Math II, 680 Physics, 610 Literature

Obviously, the SAT in all its forms is dragging me down, but my question is this: Will colleges look poorly on me sending ONLY my ACT score?

I plan to apply to some top schools like Yale, Brown, Emory, UVA, etc... and I'm not sure if it would be better to just submit the ACT and risk them looking down on just one test score (no SAT or SAT II's) or to submit everything and have them see my poor SAT scores.

What would you do?

Thanks!

Your superscore SAT is actually 2130, 710R/690M/730W which is not bad for any of the ones you list and upper 50% for Emory and UVa. One option is to just send everything but what you send can be controlled by what you need to send:

Yale: accepts SAT plus two SAT IIs, or alternatively ACT. If you send ACT and two SAT IIs, SAT IIs will not be considered as those are part of the SAT side of things considered for admission. Moreover, if you send any SAT IIs or any SAT, you must send all SATs and SAT IIs; however it uses only the highest two SAT subject tests for admission. Sending only ACT is a choice.

Brown: like Yale, accepts SAT plus two SAT IIs, or alternatively ACT, and SAT IIs are part of the SAT side of the package. Brown allows you to choose which SATs or SAT IIs to send but sending SAT IIs without SAT does nothing.

Emory and UVa.: two SAT IIs are recommended but not required and are considered regardless of whether you submit SAT or ACT. You do not need to send all scores; thus you can send ACT only, or ACT with one or more SAT IIs.

Am I at a disadvantage by only sending my ACT? Will they see that I am sending one test score only and weigh my performance differently than someone who sends all of the tests or even the SAT along with SAT II’s?

Any advice?

No. You are definitely not at a disadvantage. I applied with only my ACT and when needed SAT II’s. I had a composite of 33 and an ACT superscore of 34, and was accepted by several top schools.

Apply with the ACT. As you can see, I am in New Haven. I accept students with the ACT alone quite frequently. When we write that we accept the SAT or the ACT, we mean it. It’s not a trick statement. Really.

Here’s the deal:
IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT SAT/ACT SCORES!! I only sent my SATs.
Like seriously it took me a long time to realize that cuz my SATs were not that great.
Had a superscore of 1850, 610 on physics and 640 on math lv 2 BUT i still got into UVA.

And I still got a full ride scholarship there so yeah no worries haha
