My first semester of college I was really brought down and lost my inspiration. I went to Loyola University Maryland, but I never really liked it there. I'm a Maryland resident that ended up having to go to Loyola because it was the only affordable college for me. I got accepted to other school like The University of Delaware, but I just couldn't afford it. I'm an Electrical Engineer major looking to possibly transfer. Being a Maryland resident and Hispanic what would be my chances now? Should I wait?

Schools I really want to attend, UMD being my dream school
1)University of Maryland - College Park
2)Drexel
3)George Washington University

After first semester this was the out come... 18 credits earned and 4 other credits from Ap credit (Calculus 1 credit) GPA: 2.869 As a freshman I was not completely prepared. I faced both my calc 2 and physics finals on the same day, and ended up pulling an all niter. Before my final I had a A- in calculus 2.... And I think my physics teacher was the worst teacher experience I have ever had in my life, but I'm ready to take on the same teacher again next semester in physics 2..
