My future goal is to become a forensic scientist or a CSI (Crime Scene Investigator) and I’m having a hard time deciding on what to major in. I’m debating between chemistry or biology with maybe a minor in criminal justice/criminology (if that’s a good idea?). I’ll probably enlist into the Army’s 31D (CID) after college to get experience if I don’t get any job offers right out of college.
Analytical chemistry is a foundation of forensic science and if you supplement that with some biology that would make a good combination.
