I have had the April 1st/April 11th status and was not asked for senior year grades, but provided them anyways....I have heard that not being asked is good, but this same status is not necessarily good, but not bad...how do y'all think I'm sitting?

Don’t worry about your status. There has been alot of speculation and rumors spread over cc about what certain statuses mean, but no one really knows.

Did you recieve the no scholarship letter because? I wasn’t asked to send midyear grades excpt for the little part in the letter. I sent mine anyway too and I have the “fowarded” status.

Just relax and wait a little bit longer because we should find out soon.

I have the exact same status and was not asked but sent grades anyways. And I never got the “no scholarship” letter. I’m nervoussssss!!

Deep breath time team. Reading into things that didn’t happen is a quick road to insanity. Maybe your original grades are so good that any more info won’t matter. Maybe you app is so bad that more grades won’t change anything. Either way I suspect your ticket has already been punched so why worry?

I got the no scholarship letter, and vinceh, it’s more fun this way ;)

Is it really a good sign if USC does not ask for 7th semester grades?

Hmmm. I wonder if all the people who didn’t receive the “no scholarship letter” were also not asked for mid-year grades.

i received the “no scholarship” letter but was not asked for mid-year grades.

^ same ^. And my status is currently “forwarded”.

My S’s status is still “being reviewed…”, and that link to submit mid-year grades is STILL there, even though he already did so. When you click on the link, you can see that they’re submitted, but I keep wondering if the presence of the link means they haven’t bothered to download the grades yet. Anyone else still have the link?

He wasn’t formally asked for grades, but they were great, so we’re really hoping USC will take a look!

I didn’t receive the “no scholarship” letter but I got asked for grades :/

Did those who DIDN’T receive a no scholarship letter apply before the scholarship deadline?

^it has been established that many people who applied by Dec. 1 deadline did NOT receive the no scholarship letter, my son among them.

for those of you DID NOT receive the no scholarship letter …

it means your letter either never got sent out or got lost. I called in and asked and they told me that a lot of people reported not getting one, but not getting the letter still means you didn’t get the presidential or trustee but you’re still in the running for admission and/or other scholarships. i think they just forgot to send a batch or something
