What Size TV To Get?

<p>I have a room in Hedrick hall, and I would like to know what you guys might recommend for tv size because i want to get a tv for the room i just dont know what is too big and too small</p>

<p>i have an 2 yr old 20 inch sharp LCD HD TV with integrated dvd player that im bringing...im also gonna use it as my monitor for my laptop</p>

<p>no tv is too big... my good friend from high school and his roommates got a 50"... and it wasn't a flat screen... LOL.</p>

<p>27" for a hall, 32" for a plaza. use dresser stands for tv stand.</p>

<p>So Deuces, where did they put the 50" TV? I hope that it's a DLP ... if it's one of those old projection TVs , I don't know where they would find room to fit it, unless beds are placed closely together.</p>

<p>yeah, they placed it on top of two 3-drawer chests in summit.</p>

<p>Vizio is not a reliable brand, not very good quality. I would check out pick up a refurbished unit from secondact and buy a long term warranty. Try that.</p>

<p>Does anyone know how many cable outlets there are per room? My roomate and I are both thinking of bringing a TV. Can you have as many as you want?</p>

<p>Speaking of outlets, where are the power outlets located in the Summit rooms? Are there four plugs for each person?</p>

<p>There's a good amount, but bring your own power strips - you have no idea how many electronics you use!</p>

<p>I'm definitely bringing power strips, but I'm just making sure that there are outlets near the all desks so that I don't have to worry about extension cords. I was in a summit room over orientation and I only saw one set of four plugs on one side of the room, but then again, I didn't have time to search thoroughly....</p>
