I have read online that it is a test optional score. Should I not submit my test scores if they’re below a certain range?
That’s totally up to you. It seems that the recommendation is to only submit scores if you think it will help. For example, if your scores are in the upper 50% of accepted test scores (which you can find the stats by searching.)
If you performed better on the ACT than the SAT, but only with superscoring the ACT, just remember that GW is one of the many colleges that don’t superscore the ACT. That can be one reason to apply test optional iif you don’t think your unsuperscored ACT number is high enough for GW.
I think their average ACT score is between 27-31 or something along those lines. That means they also accepted kids with lower and higher ACTs than that range. If you don’t submit test scores then they will place even more emphasis on your grades, gpa, and course load.
