What subjects SATs do I need?

I’ll be a computer science major ( NOT computer science & engineering/computer engineering), looking to do web/game design. I’m definitely taking math level 2 and literature. I did physics and chem in my GCSEs, but currently, i’m doing the IB, and my only science is computer science. Some schools require a science subject SAT to be able to submit an application to their school of engineering. I definitely will not be an engineering student, but some schools’ cs department may be a part of their engineering college. E.g., UCLA. They “strongly recommend” math 2 and a science subject for engineering school applicants (but don’t require it!).

My question is, is it a bad idea to do only math and literature? I have to do my EE, IAs, ECs etc. (the usual IB grind)
It would honestly be very difficult for me to cover a science this summer.

Take that as an absolute requirement! Otherwise, you will be badly surprised!

Follow UCLA’s recommendation for SAT subject tests and you will be fine for any other schools you apply, unless a 3rd subject test is required. If so, then take the literature subject test.
