What test should I focus on if both my results for tests are about the same?

I took the SAT twice, first time 1890, and second time got a 2030. I took the ACT for the first time and got a 29. They are about equal and I’m not really sure what I prefer.

I got 620 in CR, 700 in M, and 710 in W so I could improve on the 620 to at least 700. I’m a rising senior so I am trying to take one last test when I go back to school. Any suggestions?

I think you should take the SAT since u already took it two times already and had over 2000. You should be more prepared for it the third time.

Yep, sounds pretty reasonable. Just thought I’d do way better on the act than I did.

If the schools you’re interested in superscore the SAT (many do), that’s another reason to stick with the SAT. Focus on prepping for the CR section. Your math score is really good and the writing score may not even be considered by some schools, so don’t spend too much time trying to improve those two.

Some schools (far fewer than for the SAT) do superscore the ACT. Check their websites or send an e-mail to admissions if you can’t find superscore info online.

I’m going to be studying for the CR and possibly Math for the October test then. Thanks for the help

What I like about the SAT is that even small gains can be seen. You can go up 20 or 30 points. To go up a single point on the ACT requires a much bigger gain… know what I mean???

I got a 25 on the science section even though I thought I did really good on it. It bumped my composite down a whole lot. :frowning:
