Alright, so if there are any students on this board who actually go to NYU, tell us about what YOU do on the weekends to give us NYU-wannabes a chance to see the high-life! ( or the not so high life...) Just post what you did this past weekend ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday) to give us all an idea of what's to come if we do get that thick envelope Mid-December....

This past weekend, I had the flu. That sucked.

My roommate went to the Village Halloween Parade and then bar hopping. Then all of our friends came back to our dorm and (legally) drank and played card games.

Weekend before. . .

Friday: Class in the morning, working in the photography lab, laundry.
Saturday: Museum of Natural History (for my photography project) and Museum of Sex (for roommate’s project). After that, we got dressed up and went out for sushi and hookah.
Sunday: LMAO. . . my roommate would kill me for revealing this, but she REALLY wanted to go to one of those “paint your own pottery” places. So we went. We also had a hall event, dance lessons. Brunch in the morning in one of the dining halls.

This week is Flurry, where NYU pays for ice skating in Central Park for everyone, and provides free food, hot chocolate and free transportation (double decker buses) to the Park for everyone. Should be exciting!

The reality is that while not every weekend is jam-packed full of activities, there’s still the possibility of doing practically anything you want.

It’s been midterms for the past few weeks, so the weekends haven’t been as exciting. Not with multiple papers and projects. I just added up all of my final papers for this semester, and I have over SIXTY PAGES to write before Christmas. Hahahahaha. Amazing.
