What to do after being wait listed at University of Oregon? HELP!?

Today I received some devastating news - at the moment, I am being wait listed at UO. After doing some research, I learned that the University accepts 80% of their wait-listed applicants. How do they select students from their wait list? Is it just by whoever has the best grades?

*I have a 3.1 GPA, I took one AP class (But didn't take the AP test)
*My SAT score is 1500
*I have applied as a Biology major, and I have received an 'A' in all my science classes (Geo Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy/Physiology)
*I'm considered a minority in Oregon
*My personal essay was about my hardships, such as moving to America from another country, and how my mothers diagnosis of schizophrenia encouraged me to study medicine.

Do you think I will be offered admission? I'm freaking out :(

I would follow up with one of your other schools, just in case. Hopefully you should get in, but my son is in the same boat and we just sent money into to hold #2 school.
