Today I received some devastating news - at the moment, I am being wait listed at UO. After doing some research, I learned that the University accepts 80% of their wait-listed applicants. How do they select students from their wait list? Is it just by whoever has the best grades?

*I have a 3.1 GPA, I took one AP class (But didn't take the AP test)
*My SAT score is 1500
*I have applied as a Biology major, and I have received an 'A' in all my science classes (Geo Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy/Physiology)
*I'm considered a minority in Oregon
*My personal essay was about my hardships, such as moving to America from another country, and how my mothers diagnosis of schizophrenia encouraged me to study medicine.

Do you think I will be offered admission? I'm freaking out :(
