What to do on Sunday when visiting?

DD is trying to make her final decision. This will be our 2nd trip. We are probably going to arrive in time for an admitted students event in Saturday, and then stay through Tuesday. Hopefully she’ll stay overnight with a student.

My question is - any suggestions for what to do on Sunday? We previously went to see the Arch. Are there activities on campus that we / she can go to? How would we find them?

She’s planning to major in CS, in case that matters.

Thanks!

The City Museum. My D18 is using the “Let’s drive up to St. Louis for the weekend to visit WashU” as an excuse to go back to the City Museum. Seriously, it’s a huge hit.

Forest Park?

We hustled over to Forest Park to see the zoo for less than an hour, but that’s a good idea to revisit.

And reading the Yelp review of The City Museum - wow, that sounds pretty interesting!

City Museum is great. St. Louis Art Museum and Missouri History Museum (both in Forest Park) are supposed to be excellent – you have already hit the zoo – the Jewel Box in the Park is neat. I don’t know anything about the Science Museum but it is also in the Park. Go have a nice brunch in the Central West End or Soulard. If you are into the Blues, the Blues Hall of Fame on Washington Street is neat. The Botanical Gardens near the Hill are supposed to be very nice. Of course there are great places to eat on the Hill as well. The Kemper Gallery on campus may have an interesting exhibit or two to see. Take a tour of the Busch Brewery.
