I am already going to have graduated and decided on a university by
June.
What do I do this coming summer?

A job, internship, or take Calculus since I haven't already?
What looks good to colleges?

to clarify, you are asking about the summer between high school and college? do something fun. if there’s an internship or a job that you like, you can do that. if you need to earn money to help pay for school, you should do that. but otherwise, you can just have fun and relax. if you’ve already decided where to go to college and have your acceptance, then you don’t need to do something to impress college admissions counselors anymore.

thanks! yeah. i feel like i should take calc though. i bet math in college is hard.

Enjoy your last summer before college. You may never see some of your high school classmates again, and if you like them, you will want to spend time before going off to school.

Summer jobs are great, but I would say don’t bother with a course before freshman year. Who wants homework over the summer, let alone the summer they graduate from high school!

The calculus class will probably be useful in giving you a leg up on math before you start college and get you into the groove as far as starting college.

Backpack through Europe or something similar.
Unless you absolutely need the money, you’ll have plenty of time to work.

Nice
good ideas!
