<p>I would think that if you are in the third week of school already, you would be at a disadvantage to switch to physics now...you already lost three weeks of instruction (or would you be beginning from the beginning of the class?)</p>
<p>Just a personal story. I took the second semester of physics in high school -- I had to argue with my GC but he said it was my funeral. I just self-studied the first semester work and ended up with the top A in the class. Really, at this point, the physics class has probably only handled the scientific method and scientific notation (don't all science classes start that way LOL)</p>
<p>Check with your potential schools. Do you need at least 3 years of a foreign language either as a requirement or to have a realistic chance for admission? I don't know about your specific schools. It may make a difference if you are in or out of state.</p>
